On behalf of a hospital in Northern Norway, we are now looking for a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for a permanent day-time position in a multidisciplinary team.

The rehabilitation unit offers a wide range of outpatient services and consists of a multidisciplinary team including specialist physicians, psychologists, neuropsychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and social workers. The team has high competence in musculoskeletal medicine, exhaustion disorders, and work-related health.

The activity is under continued development with plans to expand specialized rehabilitation care in the coming years. The hospital also participates in national research projects, particularly within work-related health and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Independent and team-based clinical work within musculoskeletal medicine, spasticity treatment, complex exhaustion disorders, and multidisciplinary assessments
• Participation in outpatient programs such as interdisciplinary exhaustion clinics and mobile rehabilitation teams
• Contribute to the development of new services and working methods within rehabilitation
• Opportunity to participate in clinical research
• Collaboration with other departments and external partners

Qualifications

• Licens as a physician from a Scandinavian country
• Specialist certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• Experience in rehabilitation medicine within hospital care is advantageous
• Good ability to work both independently and in a team
• Good knowledge of a Scandinavian language and motivation to work in Norway
