Job Description

We offer you meaningful work in a varied and stimulating work environment. Your role includes assessment, diagnosis, CBT-focused treatment, group therapy, and consultation. You have the opportunity to shape your role according to existing conditions. Interest in participating in various projects and improvement areas within the operations is welcome. As a PTP Psychologist with us, you will have access to a developing PTP program including network meetings, seminars, and regular supervision.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-run health centers and the Health Center Emergency Clinics in Västmanland are operated as an intrapreneurship with a management board and Region Västmanland as the owner. The operations are gathered under the name Närvården Västmanland, and together we work to offer accessible and high-quality primary care throughout the county. We continuously invest in developing our workplaces to meet the primary care of the future.

Närvården Hemdal is a well-established and relatively large health center in Västerås, located at entrance 19 on the hospital grounds. Directly adjacent to the health center is staff parking. We are responsible for just over 13,200 registered patients, and our unit includes a doctor's and district nurse clinic, maternal and child health care, a rehabilitation unit with physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as a psychosocial team with a counselor, psychologist, and nurse.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone interested in working with early psychological interventions to prevent and reduce mental ill-health in the population. You have a recognized psychology degree with a CBT focus at the start of PTP, and you have a strong interest in working with primary care patients. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and experience with the Cosmic medical record system is preferred.

To fit in with us, we see that you have personal maturity and empathy. You enjoy working together with others but also feel secure in independent work where you take initiative. Other qualities you possess are care, reliability, and innovative thinking.

Terms of Employment

Fixed-term employment for one year on a full-time basis. Start date August/September.
