Job Responsibilities

We handle the entire primary care mandate, so your work will be varied with breadth and diversity across the entire field of general practice. This is a challenge that requires both high competence and experience. The work is built on good and long-term relationships with patients, which is valuable and contributes to creating safe and secure care. Another challenge is the clinic's location in the county, which means we receive many acute patients.

We are constantly working on development projects with the aim of providing safe and secure care for our patients, but also to optimize the resources we have and manage them in the best possible way. Närvården's health centers have a pronounced educational focus, and as a specialist trainee (ST-läkare) in general practice, you will receive a clear training plan tailored to your needs. Continuous supervision both at the health center and during your placements at various clinics provides the support needed for you to feel secure and grow in the role.

About the Workplace

The 11 region-run health centers and the health centers' emergency clinics in Västmanland are operated as an intrapreneurship with a board and Region Västmanland as the owner. The operations are gathered under the name Närvården Västmanland, and together we work to offer accessible and high-quality primary care throughout the county. We continuously invest in the development of our workplaces to meet the primary care of the future.

Närvården Norberg is centrally located in Norberg, and we are responsible for just over 4,500 registered patients. Our clinic includes a doctor's and district nurse's reception, maternal and child health care, physiotherapy and occupational therapy services, as well as a counselor and dietitian. Our employees have extensive experience and high competence, where you as a newcomer can receive support and help with your questions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a valid Swedish medical license. Previous experience working in primary care is meritorious. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and preferably experience with the medical record system Cosmic.

You possess personal maturity, meaning you are stable and confident in your professional role and meet patients and colleagues with respect and sensitivity. You should be able to adapt to changing circumstances, as anything can happen at a health center. The employees at the health center work closely together, and a good ability to collaborate and communicate with others is of great importance. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and value commitment and a positive attitude at work.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date as agreed.
