We are looking for an engaged receptionist/host/hostess who is passionate about guest interaction and will serve as the first point of contact for our guests. In this role, you will represent our business in the best possible way.

As a host/receptionist, your primary responsibility is to welcome our guests and provide an outstanding experience through your communication skills. Your duties also include front desk operations such as check-in and check-out, as well as meeting our guests' needs. This may involve taxi bookings, restaurant reservations, room and facility tours, and handling luggage, among other tasks.

You are Dorsia's first face in the entrance, which places high demands on your personality and social competence.

The position is a part-time summer employment with immediate start, with the possibility of continuing work into the autumn.

You will work on a rotating schedule covering daytime, evening, and weekends.

Responsibilities include:

• Guest Service and Relations: Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests and build strong relationships through personalized service.
• Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with guests and colleagues to ensure a fantastic stay.
• Guest Management Systems: Handle guest information and bookings accurately and efficiently using our booking system, MEWS.
• Reservation Management: Receive and process bookings via phone, email, and in person to ensure accurate booking details.
• Knowledge of Hotel Facilities and Services: Provide detailed information about the hotel's amenities, restaurants, and nearby attractions.
• Administrative Skills: Perform administrative tasks such as cash handling and reporting.
• Teamwork: Work closely with other departments to ensure a fantastic guest experience.
• Discretion and Trust: Handle guest information and sensitive matters with complete discretion and trust.
• Stress Tolerance: Handle stressful situations with calm and professionalism to ensure guest well-being.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in at least Swedish and English to communicate effectively with a diverse range of international guests.
