About Us

Mollösunds Wärdshus is a historic inn located at the tip of Orust, right in the heart of the old fishing village of Mollösund. Here, we welcome overnight guests, dining guests, and groups renting the entire house for conferences and private events.

About the Role

We are looking for the heart and key person of the house – the one who brings the inn to life and is the first face our guests see upon arrival. During the low season, you will manage operations independently; during the high season, you will be the hub of a small team. We are flexible in how this position is structured – it can be part-time, shared between two people, and suits both retirees looking for a meaningful side job and those seeking a varied part-time role. Age is irrelevant – attitude and hospitality matter more than a long resume.

Good to Know

Living in Mollösund or on Orust puts you in the perfect location. If you live further away, having a driver's license and a car is helpful due to sparse public transport – but this is not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check in guests
• Manage breakfast and prepare the dining room
• Clean and prepare rooms to a high standard
• Act as host and contact person for groups renting the entire house
• Handle simple bookings and guest communication

Qualifications (Requirements)

• Responsible and self-motivated
• Genuine interest in hospitality and service
• Enjoy variety in daily tasks
• Good proficiency in Swedish

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from hotels, restaurants, or the tourism industry
• Living on or near Orust

Employment
