We are now looking for a residential support worker for our team at Nytida Skillnadsgatan. We offer training and a developing job where you make a difference! The position is close to full-time.

Skillnadsgatan is a group home under the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) for people with autism or intellectual disabilities. Here, residents can choose to socialize in common areas or retreat to their own apartments. The residence is located in a quiet villa area with proximity to both nature and public services. Each resident has their own apartment with a kitchen, bathroom, and balcony, as well as access to a garden, living room, and shared dining room. About the Role

As a residential support worker, you base your work on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your duties also include documentation and planning based on implementation plans.

Working hours are scheduled for awake nights. If you are already an existing employee wishing to switch to night shifts, you may also be offered a position covering daytime, evening, and weekends.

You have a group manager close by who spends part of their time working in the operations. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your Experience and Knowledge

You have upper secondary education in healthcare and social care or equivalent. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Experience working with the target group is meritorious. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important factor. If you have the right qualities, we will provide support and opportunities for you to grow.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team, supporting your colleagues, and always have the best interests of our users as your starting point in everything you do.
