About the role

At Boye Advisory, you will take on a key role in a growing Family Office where your experience is highly valued. You will work closely with decision-makers and handle complex financial structures, with the opportunity to influence processes and routines. We are currently looking for an accountant for direct employment at our office in central Stockholm.

Here, you will become an important part of a small, highly competent, and dedicated team. The role involves overall responsibility for the accounting of several companies, requiring both integrity and business acumen.

Boye Advisory is part of SEB and offers, among other things, advisory services and financial administration to owner-led companies and their holding companies. The work environment is characterized by trust, flexibility, and long-term perspective, allowing you to work in a family-like atmosphere.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will handle accounting for a number of clients, which also includes learning their specific behaviors, being responsible for and ensuring work regarding invoices, payments, reconciliations, reporting, year-end closing, income tax returns, etc. In addition to managing the accounting, your service-oriented mindset will play a key role, as you are expected to stay ahead and be ready to step in when needed. Your tasks will include, among others:

  • Ongoing accounting, bookkeeping, and administration.
  • Independently preparing annual financial statements, annual reports, and income tax returns (K2 and K3).
  • Budgeting, forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
  • Reports, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Invoicing and payroll administration.
  • Proactive advisory and customer service.

Who we are looking for

  • You have an academic degree in economics with a focus on accounting, or equivalent.
  • You have 3–5 years of experience in qualified accounting work, preferably from an accounting firm, as well as experience in handling holding and financial companies.
  • You are confident in the entire closing process and are used to working independently according to K2 and K3 standards.
  • You have good system proficiency, especially in Excel and Fortnox.
  • You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.
  • You have high integrity, understand the importance of absolute discretion, and thrive in a role with significant responsibility.
  • You thrive in a professional, relationship-building environment with high demands for service and attention to detail towards customers and owners.
  • We view it as a positive if you have an interest in or experience with stocks, investments, and asset management.
