Your Role

A professional and respectful approach and attitude are fundamental to our operations. We work to support and assist residents in their daily and working lives based on decisions and implementation plans. This can involve care, communication, practical tasks, and activities.

The role also includes close collaboration with representatives and next of kin. Ongoing documentation according to current legislation is part of the job, including writing implementation plans according to IBIC (Individual Needs Centered).

Your Knowledge and Experience

You should have education as a support assistant, education from the Child and Youth program, the Youth Leader line, the Care program, or other education/competence/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

Other qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience of working with low-affective handling (calm and de-escalating communication).
• Experience working with people with different types of functional variations.
• Knowledge and experience in social documentation according to IBIC (structured documentation, individual needs centered).
• You are calm, secure, and stress-resistant with great patience.
• You are proactive and responsible, with a strong belief in people's ability to change and develop.
• You are flexible and capable of planning activities and tasks for work shifts.
• You are engaged and willing to move the operations forward.
• You can work independently and in a team, believing it is important to have trust, positivity, and mutual appreciation in the work group.
• You have good computer and documentation skills and can express yourself fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability, attitude, and approach.

Administrative Requirements

The position requires access to BankID and the ability to present an extract from the police criminal record. Type of extract: Working in the home with elderly and people with disabilities.

You must also be able to present a passport/valid ID card. A driver's license can be presented together with a personal certificate, which can be retrieved from skatteverket.se using Bank-ID. We can arrange this during a scheduled interview.

Your Future Workplace

At Götgatan Group Residence, we focus on LSS/Elderly care. Our unit includes 3 group residences: Götgatan in Kvänum, and Lingonet and Laurentius in Vedum. These three units co-plan part of the operations. This means that for this position, most work shifts will be located at Götgatan, but there may also be shifts in Vedum.

Here, decisions regarding Housing with Special Service for Adults according to LSS are implemented. We work with people with various functional variations, which requires competence in how to treat people in a professional and individualized manner. The goal is to strengthen the individual's ability and own resources, so that they can live as independently as possible.
