The Skaraborg Endoscopy Clinic has locations in two cities: Lidköping, where planned patient care is the focus, and Skövde, where both emergency and planned patient care are provided. Your primary workplace will be Lidköping, but you may also work in Skövde as the clinics are shared resources for Skaraborg Hospital. The two clinics work integratively based on a shared waiting list. We primarily perform colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and sigmoidoscopies. The rest of the team consists of gastroenterologists, endoscopy nurses, surgeons, ENT specialists, nurses, and assistant nurses.

Job Description

As a Medical Secretary at our Endoscopy Clinic, you will work together with two other medical secretaries and be a vital part of the team. Your duties include medical documentation, mail handling, referral processing, scanning, working with 1177, and registering data in our patient administration systems. We continuously rotate tasks and will, among other things, take over parts of the scheduling. You will play a key role in the development and improvement of our operations. We are approaching the healthcare environment of the future and a new electronic health record system, where you will be involved in developing our operations for the future.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have a college degree (KY) or vocational higher education (YH) as a Medical Secretary or equivalent, and who have good knowledge of the Swedish language. We expect you to be proficient in using various IT tools, preferably the medical record systems Melior and Elvis.

It is important that you want to be involved in the development and digitalization of our operations, as we are undergoing significant digital changes, including speech recognition and digital invitations. We value a friendly and positive attitude. Furthermore, you are meticulous, structured, responsible, and have good collaboration skills. You are flexible and able to prioritize your tasks. We welcome innovative thinking and creativity.
