RESPONSIBILITIES

Växjö Municipality's contact center is now looking for a Municipal Guide!

We are looking for you who see service and good treatment as the most important and enjoyable part of working. As a Municipal Guide, you answer questions from residents, visitors, business owners, and organizations. Questions come in and are answered via phone, email, e-services, chat, social media, or in person.

As a Municipal Guide, you contribute to providing the municipality's residents with the best possible service. This means that you inform, answer questions, and give advice based on the residents' needs. The contact center has an exciting mission where we work together with the municipality's departments and companies to develop resident services.

We are looking for an employee for a permanent position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Your personal qualities are crucial for your success in the role, which means that you are a service-oriented team player who helps colleagues and provides residents with good treatment and service. Since we work in a constantly changing environment, we see you as someone who can work at a high pace and focus on multiple issues simultaneously. You are flexible and easily prioritize among different tasks. You have a desire to learn more, which means you need to independently seek new knowledge. We actively work with goals and follow-up at both group and individual levels. Therefore, it is important that you are motivated by working towards set goals and contributing to the development of the operations. The ability to understand the municipality as a whole is required for the position, as well as an interest in and ability to understand issues regarding social care, elderly care, culture and leisure, as well as children and education.

You need very good IT and computer skills, as well as good ability to search for information digitally. The role requires that you are clear and pedagogical and can communicate in very good Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

You have a high school diploma, and if you also have a university education, it is an advantage. Previous experience from customer service and municipal operations is also considered an advantage. Great importance is placed on personal qualities.
