About Sandviksskolan

Sandviksskolan is located in the eastern part of Karlskoga and is a school for grades F-6, consisting of two classes per grade level. We have three preschool classes on the school. In grades 2-6, three teachers (the three-teacher system) work across two classes.

The school is characterized by staff who build relationships, are pleasant, and responsible, where student participation, learning, and development are always in focus. Job Responsibilities

In your role as a crafts teacher at Sandviksskolan, you create good conditions for teaching and leading students in their knowledge development and goal achievement. With student-centered teaching, you drive and develop the teaching together with your students. Through your engagement and good subject knowledge, you create interesting teaching where students get to develop in the best way possible.

Your work as a teacher is based on creating accessible learning environments, physical, pedagogical, and social environments. You have close collaboration with teaching colleagues, work independently, and drive school development.

Your responsibilities include:

• planning, implementing, and following up on teaching
• analyzing teaching and results
• contact with guardians
• collaboration with the student health team, school leadership, and external parties
• school-wide values-based work
• teamwork
• working and documenting in the operational systems available

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach in wood and metal crafts for grades 3-6.

You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You value and contribute to good collaboration by having an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach. You are structured and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze students' learning as well as your teaching structure in an effective way that leads to desired results.

To contribute to the school's continued digital development, you are expected to possess good IT skills and be able to easily adapt to digital systems. Furthermore, you master the Swedish language to such an extent that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, and that you can document in writing what the operations require.

Experience of working with language-developing approaches or Swedish as a second language is meritorious.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
