Job Responsibilities

Are you looking for meaningful work where you make a real difference? We are looking for you who have experience with neuropsychiatric disabilities, preferably in combination with cerebral palsy.

As a personal assistant, you provide support in daily life to a user of personal assistance with extensive needs. You create structure and security based on the person's needs and daily condition, and accompany them on activities such as excursions and trips. The work takes place in the home and, going forward, also in day activities.

The tasks include personal care, transfers using a turner and Permobil, tube feeding via a feeding pump, and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). You work based on low-affective interaction and contribute to routines that create a meaningful everyday life. The role also includes documentation in Treserva.

You will become part of a team with personal assistants, support pedagog/coordinator, and unit manager. Working hours include days and evenings. A probation period of up to six months may apply.

Qualifications

Requirements: Experience with neuropsychiatric disabilities and a passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1.

As a person, you are responsible, sensitive, and have a strong focus on the user. You collaborate well with others, adapt to changed conditions, and keep your cool in challenging situations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Meritorious: extensive care and intimate hygiene, tube feeding, transfer aids, AAC/Bliss, cerebral palsy, challenging behavior, documentation in Treserva, and healthcare/nursing education.
