Your responsibilities

Omniglot is now looking for a native language teacher in Romanian at 5% in Gävle, starting in week 34 of August.

As a native language teacher, you teach children and young people in your native language outside of regular school hours, usually in the afternoon between 14:00–17:00, and sometimes in the morning between 08:00 and 09:00. This position is for a school in Gävle, so you must reside there.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and conducting native language lessons;
• Managing attendance and absence for your students;
• Email communication with guardians;
• Grading and providing feedback;
• Reporting your working hours and maintaining close contact with Omniglot's central office;
• Participating in professional development together with other teaching colleagues.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Resides in Gävle;
• Has Romanian as their native language;
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently;
• Is proficient in computer skills;
• Is attuned to students' needs and interests;
• Is flexible and enjoys collaborating with colleagues, guardians, and school staff.

Teaching experience is an advantage.
