Do you want to help develop the future of poultry production? Do you have strong self-leadership skills and an interest in animal welfare, production optimization, and business development? Then the role of Production Manager for our primary production could be the next step in your career.

About the role

As a Production Manager, you play a central role in our operations, leading and developing operational production both internally and externally. You are responsible for results and development within our internal breeding operations and work closely with our producers to ensure high animal welfare, strong production results, and a long-term sustainable business.

Through advisory services, follow-ups, and data-driven improvement work, you contribute to optimizing production throughout the entire value chain – from hatchery to slaughter. You will report to our Primary Production Planner and be responsible for approximately 10 employees working in various functions within our breeding operations.

Your main responsibilities

  • Provide qualified farm advisory services to external producers.
  • Take responsibility for results and development in our internal breeding operations.
  • Drive improvement work regarding animal welfare, biosecurity, and disease prevention among all producers.
  • Analyze production data, monitor key performance indicators, and translate insights into concrete improvement measures.
  • Collaborate with functions across the entire poultry chain – from hatchery to slaughter.
  • Educate, coach, and develop both internal staff and external producers.
  • Initiate and drive operational improvement and development projects.

Requirements & personal qualities: A requirement for the role is that you have at least a secondary education, a driver’s license, and access to a car. You must be fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing, and have basic knowledge of English.

If you additionally have any of the following, it is an advantage:

  • University education in agriculture, animal science, veterinary medicine, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in the food industry.
  • Experience working in a leadership position.
