The Food Services Department at Region Gotland contributes daily to good health, well-being, and quality of life for children, students, the elderly, and patients. Approximately 11,000 meals are produced and served daily across Gotland.
At the kitchen of Solklintsskolan, nine employees currently work in a developing operation. The kitchen produces approximately 2,000 chilled, portion-packed meal boxes daily for people living in ordinary housing. In addition, around 300 portions are prepared daily for primary schools, preschools, and elderly care.
The operation is in an exciting transition phase, focusing on optimizing chilled meal production and creating conditions for future development and increased capacity.
We are now looking for two dedicated employees to join the kitchen at Solklintsskolan and help develop the operation together with us. Whether you are a chef or a kitchen assistant, you are warmly welcome to apply!

Your responsibilities
The role includes, among other things:
Depending on your qualifications and the needs of the operation, other tasks may be added.
The salary range for a Chef is 30,980 - 33,587 SEK/month.
The salary range for a Kitchen Assistant is 28,748 - 30,660 SEK/month.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who have a restaurant education, for example, a three-year upper secondary education with a focus on restaurants and meal services, a higher vocational education (KY), or other education combined with experience that the employer considers equivalent.
It is an advantage if you have experience working in large-scale kitchens and experience preparing special diets.
A B-driver's license and good computer skills are required for the position.
You feel confident using digital tools in your work and are interested in doing so. You pick up new systems easily and see the possibilities with digital solutions as support in the operation.
To thrive in the role, you need to be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the operation. The work may involve supporting other operations and workplaces as needed. At the same time, the kitchen is in an exciting development phase where working methods and routines are continuously reviewed and developed. We are therefore looking for you who feel comfortable in a changing environment and see development as a natural part of the work.
As a person, you are secure and mature in your professional role. You collaborate well with others and build good relationships with both colleagues and customers/partners. You are service-oriented, clear in your communication, and have a strong focus on quality in the work you perform.
