Do you want to lead the kitchen at one of Gotland's top restaurants and have a significant impact on menus, team, and operations? We are now looking for two driven and experienced head chefs for Restaurant Bolaget and Restaurant Systemet, located in the heart of Visby.

Bolaget is our French bistro with a Gotlandic touch. A warm and charming restaurant where classics like ribeye, tartare, oysters, and rustic French dishes are at the center.

Systemet offers a modern and vibrant experience with a meat-focused menu, from entrecôte and club steak to tartare and vitello tonnato. Here, the pace is high and the atmosphere is social.

Together, we create two different yet complementary experiences, both with the same focus on quality, community, and really good food.

About the role

As head chef, you are responsible for the kitchen's daily operations, quality, and economy. You lead, motivate, and develop your team, ensure routines and menus, and make sure that guests always receive a first-class dining experience. The role is central to both the kitchen's results and the guest experience!

Your responsibilities

Scheduling and personnel responsibility for 2–7 employees

Recruitment of kitchen staff

Orders and ingredient management

Ensure and develop the quality and delivery of food

Lead and motivate the team in daily operations

Financial responsibility and follow-up of KPIs

Menu work and development of new dishes in collaboration with the owners

We are looking for someone who

Has at least 5 years of experience as a head chef or in another leading kitchen position

Is confident and creative in menu work

Is a strong team player and an inclusive leader

Speaks and writes fluent Swedish

Meritorious

Experience in French cuisine

Experience and sensitivity for ingredients, with a special focus on meat

Personal qualities

We are looking for someone who is hungry, driven, and wants to develop. You are structured, unpretentious, and can create a stable flow in both calm and intense periods.
