About the role

As a Team Leader - Reception, you will become a key figure in our reception team, responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing the reception staff. You ensure that our guests are always met with professional, warm, and efficient service, while daily routines and quality goals are achieved.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the reception team to create high guest service and a positive work environment
  • Schedule staff shifts and handle staffing issues
  • Responsible for check-ins and check-outs, booking management, payments, and cash handling when needed
  • Ensure that information to guests and internal communication maintain high quality
  • Monitor service quality, guest relations, and handle complaints/problem-solving professionally
  • Train and onboard new staff and conduct ongoing development conversations
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflows and high guest satisfaction
  • Participate in administrative tasks such as reporting, monitoring key figures, and improvement work

Qualifications and experience

  • Experience from reception, hotel, or customer-facing roles, preferably with previous leadership experience
  • Good understanding of booking and cash register systems, as well as good computer skills
  • Ability to work in a structured manner and prioritize in a changing environment
  • Strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience in personnel planning and scheduling is an advantage
  • Experience working with Mews, Microsoft Office, and Slack

Scope: Full-time or part-time as agreed. Working hours: Flexible hours including day, evening, and weekend shifts. Start date: As agreed.
