As a dishwasher, you are responsible for ensuring that the kitchen's workflow runs smoothly by keeping the dishwashing area and kitchen spaces clean, organized, and efficient. You will wash dishes, glassware, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and larger equipment, ensuring everything is returned to its proper place without delay.
You are also responsible for maintaining order and hygiene in the dishwashing room. This includes emptying trash, handling waste sorting, and contributing to keeping the kitchen work surfaces clean according to established routines and hygiene requirements. When needed, you will assist with simple food preparation tasks in the kitchen.
The work takes place at a high pace, often under time pressure, requiring attention to detail, stamina, and teamwork skills. The role involves working in a warm and humid environment with high noise levels and heavy lifting. Evening and weekend shifts are part of the job.
You will also assist with receiving deliveries and general restaurant cleaning.
