At PROTOS, we develop food products that are good for both people and the environment. For us, it is a given that food should taste great, be nutritious, and be produced with minimal resource impact.

We have deepened our work within local and sustainable meat production. Additionally, we are developing an entirely new range of protein-rich, plant-based foods.

In Visby, on the island of Gotland, we have our large and modern food production facility. Here, we process and develop all our food products. Thanks to the short distances on Gotland and the close contact with local farmers on the island, we have full control over every step of the food production process, from farm to table.

We work long-term with development, quality, and sustainability. We also have offices in Solna and a smaller slaughterhouse in Sörby, which gives us proximity to all our customers and consumers – and not least, many farmers with whom we have started collaborating in the Mälaren Valley to work locally and regionally with various food ingredients.

We therefore believe that our company has succeeded in combining the best of both worlds: a solid and high-quality operation on Gotland, combined with proximity to Sweden’s largest consumer market, offering many opportunities for influence, ideas, and collaborations.

We are looking for you who want to work as an assistant in our restaurant this summer. You will be responsible for the atmosphere at the cash register and in the premises, handling all standard tasks in a restaurant setting.

In the kitchen, we have three experienced chefs with whom you will work. It is important to us that you are a team player who enjoys collaboration. You must be able to work independently as well as follow instructions, as we are a small team in our restaurant.

The work is primarily during daytime hours, but you will also occasionally be involved in our catering operations.

The position is primarily a summer job, but if you are the right person, there are great chances of extension and permanent employment.
