Do you want to lead the kitchen at one of Gotland's top restaurants and have a significant impact on menus, team, and operations? We are now looking for two driven and experienced head chefs for Restaurant Bolaget and Restaurant Systemet, located in the heart of Visby.
Bolaget is our French bistro with a Gotlandic touch. A warm and charming restaurant where classics like ribeye, steak tartare, oysters, and rustic French dishes are at the center.
Systemet offers a modern and vibrant experience with a meat-focused menu, from entrecôte and club steak to steak tartare and vitello tonnato. Here, the pace is high and the atmosphere is social.
Together, we create two different yet complementary experiences, both with the same focus on quality, community, and really good food.
About the roleAs head chef, you are responsible for the kitchen's daily operations, quality, and economy. You lead, motivate, and develop your team, ensure routines and menus, and make sure that guests always receive a first-class dining experience. The role is central to both the kitchen's results and the guest experience!
Your responsibilitiesScheduling and personnel responsibility for 2–7 employees
Recruitment of kitchen staff
Orders and ingredient management
Ensure and develop the quality and delivery of food
Lead and motivate the team in daily operations
Financial responsibility and follow-up of KPIs
Menu work and development of new dishes in collaboration with the owner
We are looking for you whoHave at least 5 years of experience as a head chef or another leading position in the kitchen
Are confident and creative in menu work
Are a strong team player and inclusive leader
Speak and write fluent Swedish
MeritoriousExperience in French cuisine
Experience and sensitivity to ingredients, with a particular focus on meat
Personal qualitiesWe are looking for someone who is hungry, driven, and wants to develop. You are structured, unpretentious, and can create a stable flow in both calm and intense periods.
