This summer, we are looking for someone who wants to work in our small beach café – a place where ice cream, snacks, and simple dishes meet the sea just outside Visby. The work follows the weather and the rhythm of the beach: sunny days can be intense and full of life, while cloudy or quieter moments give us time to take care of the place and help each other.

We see the café as an important part of the whole at Vidhave. Many guests meet us for the first time here, which is why we are looking for someone who is curious, responsible, and enjoys working with others.

About the job

The work consists of serving ice cream, snacks, and lighter meals, as well as keeping the café clean, welcoming, and in motion. When the pace is high, you need to be able to stay calm and continue to greet guests with a friendly attitude. During quieter days, we help each other with simpler tasks in the area or support colleagues in other parts of the business.

You do not need previous experience – we will teach you what you need to know. More importantly, you:

• enjoy meeting people

• can work focused even when the queue grows

• take initiative and help where needed

• contribute to a positive atmosphere, regardless of the weather

We especially welcome younger applicants who want to try their first summer job and learn how it works to work together in a restaurant environment.

At Vidhave, we work with simple and present hospitality. We believe in responsibility, clarity, and that we solve things together. The weather controls much of our everyday life – sunny days are intense, rainy days we keep our spirits up and take care of the place.

When the season starts, you will already have your schedule for the summer, usually in a 3–3 rotation where work and time off alternate.
