We are looking for a head waiter who wants to help shape the summer service at Vidhave. Here, restaurant, veranda, and beach life meet in an environment where guests often stay for a long time – and where leadership is as much about presence as it is about structure.

With us, the head waiter is a natural gathering point in the restaurant. You keep the flow together, support the team, and ensure that each day lands right, both for guests and colleagues.

About the role

You will lead the operations in the dining area together with the kitchen and bar. The work involves planning service, leading the team, and ensuring that the experience maintains a consistent and personal level throughout the day.

Your responsibilities include:

• leading and developing the serving staff in their daily work
• planning operations and staffing in close dialogue with other responsible parties
• working with bookings, groups, and events
• contributing to structure regarding assortment, orders, and routines
• supporting the team in service and being a reliable contact for guests

We are looking for someone with experience in a head waiter role or similar responsibilities in a restaurant environment, and who thrives in a leadership style where clarity, humility, and collaboration are central.

Practical details

• Season: mid-June – end of August
• Opportunity for work before and after the season in connection with groups and events
• Languages: Swedish and English required, German or Danish is a plus
• Staff accommodation available for the right person
• Salary according to agreement
