We are preparing for our second summer season at Garveriet Visby and are now looking for a passionate chef who wants to become part of the Garveriet team.

We are a newly opened, small-scale, and family-run artisan bakery and brunch restaurant, located right next to Almedalen in the heart of Visby. We are now seeking a creative, meticulous, and ambitious chef who wants to be part of creating something extraordinary.

As a chef with us, you are responsible for delivering high-quality brunch dishes with a focus on flavor, seasonality, and careful craftsmanship. You will work strategically to ensure an attractive menu, consistent quality, and efficient service.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Cooking and presenting brunch dishes with high quality and precision.
• Actively working on menu development and seasonal adjustments.
• Ensuring quality, hygiene, and a good working environment in the kitchen.
• Contributing to efficient production and working on waste minimization.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has education in the restaurant/kitchen industry or equivalent experience.
• Has good knowledge of ingredients and an interest in seasonal cooking.
• Has knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Is driven, responsible, and has a genuine interest in cooking and quality.

Varying working hours, mostly during the day. Unconventional hours occur regularly, especially mornings and weekends.
