Process Architect for Software Updates

We are looking for a Process Architect responsible for developing and maintaining processes for handling software updates within the automotive industry or other regulated technical operations. The role covers the entire product lifecycle – from development and production to operation and decommissioning – with a focus on quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance.

The work involves close collaboration with operations, development, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient, documented, and auditable processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and improve processes for software updates throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Translate regulatory and technical requirements into practical working methods and processes.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, governance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and process interfaces.
  • Support projects and development teams in the implementation of processes and working methods.
  • Participate in audits, follow-ups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure that processes and tools support the organization's requirements for quality and compliance.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in process development, system development, systems engineering, or software development within technically advanced environments.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory or standard-based requirements and translate them into practical processes.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and a habit of driving improvement initiatives independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with software updates, cybersecurity, or quality and management systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements or international standards within the automotive or other regulated industries.
  • Experience with audits, product data, configuration management, or traceability.
  • Previous work experience in the automotive industry or other technically regulated operations.
