Emotivum is a private psychotherapy clinic located on Kungsholmen in Stockholm, operating since 2020. We are a team of ten employed psychologists and psychotherapists who share the belief that psychotherapy is about improving quality of life, not just symptom relief. Since our inception, we have built a clinic where patients come for therapy and dedicated clinicians get to work under therapeutically favorable conditions.

This time, we are specifically looking for you who are experienced and want to work sustainably and relationally with more complex clinical relationships — individuals with, for example, trauma, dissociation, or fragile personality structures. What we are looking for is not primarily a specific method, but an attitude: the ability and willingness to enter into the difficult and stay there, often over long-term treatments. Our work is based on shared perspectives: psychodynamic theory, attachment, the relational, common factors, sexuality as a perspective, and salutogenesis.

At our clinic, patients meet Emotivum first, not an individual clinician. In our systematic qualitative matching process, which we have worked with since the start, we take joint responsibility as a clinic to offer the right therapy and the right therapist — so that you can focus on the clinical work once the connection has been established with you. Sometimes you take over where a colleague has started; we see this as continuing a process, not starting over. You have clinical freedom in how you work, and you are never alone with a difficult case. We work closely together, with regular supervision in various formats. We carry the heavy load together.

Meritorious: broad clinical experience with complex clinical relationships. Specific method training, e.g., EMDR, can be part of it but is not decisive.
