About the position

You will work in oncological inpatient care with a range of different diagnoses, including lung, breast, head and neck, gynecological, urological, and gastrointestinal cancers.

You will work within a large team consisting of specialists, other resident doctors, nursing staff, and administrators within inpatient care.

A high patient turnover contributes to very rapid learning of complex oncological and intermedical problems.

The position is a full-time (100%) temporary assignment for 4 months, located in Solna.

  • Have the ability to put yourself in someone else's perspective or situation without taking over the person's feelings.
  • See the big picture and take the broader perspective into account. Understand your role, but consider the best interests of the entire operation in actions and decisions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Medical degree

Merits:

  • Previous experience within Swedish healthcare.
  • Experience in supervising and teaching younger colleagues.
  • Independent research is encouraged.
