Are you a psychologist looking for new challenges? We are now looking for a psychologist for our Outpatient Care Adults 2 unit for a one-year parental leave substitute position.

Stockholm Centre for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the largest specialist clinics in the world for patients with eating disorders and receives patients of all ages.

We have a well-developed operation with digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, inpatient care, and national highly specialized care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Today, we have nearly 300 employees. Our outpatient and day care are located on Södermalm, and our inpatient care is at Danderyd Hospital.

Outpatient Care Adults 2 is a clinic that treats patients aged 18 and above with complex eating disorder issues that they have suffered from for a longer period. Our clinic has an individual treatment setup, and we work as a multidisciplinary team around each patient. Our unit has now received an expanded mandate and will begin implementing new eating disorder treatments to broaden the psychological method offerings at SCÄ.

Job Responsibilities:

Your main job responsibilities will be to conduct psychological treatment work, primarily individually, but also in groups. Our clinic uses CBT-E and SSCM as main treatment models, but we also complement with perspectives from other treatment methods such as DBT, RO-DBT, GPM, ACT, MI, etc. You will also get to help develop a new operation for complex sick patients that will start at SCÄ.

The job responsibilities also include diagnostic assessments, method development, and follow-up in the clinic's quality assurance work. You will participate in treatment conferences, supervision, and method development together with other staff in our multiprofessional team.

Employment Type:

Substitute position, 1 year.

Full-time, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications:

Registered Psychologist.

Experience in eating disorder care, CBT-E, group therapy, specialist training, doctoral studies, psychotherapist license is meritorious. Also, having worked with long-term sick and complex patient groups is meritorious.

Personal Qualities:

You have good cooperation skills, take personal responsibility, and enjoy working in a team. You are confident in meeting people in difficult life situations and working flexibly and long-term with patients.

- Requires, in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
