You now have the opportunity to become part of Alvik Primary Care Centre as one of our specialist physicians is retiring.
Alvik Primary Care Centre is a very well-functioning centre, centrally located near the subway, tram, buses, and cycle paths in Alvik, Bromma. The centre has approximately 24,000 registered patients, and we have just over 65 employees. We have 17 specialist physicians in general practice with broad experience and high medical competence, as well as 9 resident doctors. Home care physicians work in our home care team. We collaborate closely with the child health centre, midwife clinic, rehabilitation, and speech therapy clinic, all located in the same building.
We are well-staffed; all our patients are offered registration with a doctor, and we have well-established nurse clinics for asthma/COPD, hypertension, heart failure, NOACs, and diabetes, as well as a psychosocial team and a rehabilitation coordinator.
Alvik Primary Care Centre is characterized by high medical quality, and we continuously engage in improvement work. We value professional community and competence development. Your responsibilities:
The responsible physician for our home care service combines this role with regular clinic duties at the primary care centre. There are two specialist physicians collaborating in the home care assignment, which provides opportunities for valuable collegial discussion and support during absences. In our competent home care team, district nurses, nurses, and assistant nurses work together with physicians. As a home care physician, you work independently and can manage your workday in close collaboration with the rest of the team. You make home visits, both planned and urgent, either alone or together with a nurse/assistant nurse.
Qualifications:
Specialist physician in general practice with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. Experience as a fully qualified specialist physician and previous work in home care are meritorious. A valid driver's license (Category B).
Personal qualities:
We are looking for you who have a positive attitude, see solutions, and are flexible. You are accustomed to working both independently and in a team, and you wish to contribute to the development of the operations. Furthermore, you have good collaboration and organizational skills.
Personal suitability is given great weight.
Employment type:
Permanent full-time position; part-time can be discussed if interested. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start date by agreement. Selection is ongoing. Probationary period may apply.
