KFUM District Midt is looking for a central business developer on 20% for a fixed-term employment of approx. 12 months. In this role, you will help develop the district's support for our member associations and contribute to more young people getting the opportunity to grow in safe and meaningful contexts.

About Us

KFUM District Midt is a district organization for KFUM associations in Dalarna, Gävleborg, Halland, Södermanland, Uppsala, Värmland, Västmanland, Västra Götaland, and Örebro County. The district's mission is to support member associations and contribute to meeting places where young people can develop.

We are part of the KFUM movement, where the human being is seen as a whole from the perspective of Body, Mind, Spirit. KFUM emphasizes equal value for all, humanity, respect, and that young people should have space to strengthen themselves, develop self-efficacy, and participate in changing society.

About the Role

As a central business developer, you work with the associations in the district and lead and coordinate the district's development work. You have overall responsibility for driving the work forward, maintaining contacts, following up on activities, and supervising local business developers.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

  • drive and coordinate business development work within the district
  • plan, prioritize, and follow up on activities
  • supervise local business developers
  • book, conduct, and follow up on association visits, conversations, and meetings
  • coordinate contacts with associations, boards, officials, and other relevant actors
  • responsible for building and updating association registers, contact structures, and materials
  • plan and conduct mapping initiatives, network meetings, association contacts, and other activities
  • document, report, and prepare materials for the employer and the board
  • participate in board meetings for reporting

We are looking for you who

  • enjoy meeting people and building relationships
  • have a good ability to structure, drive, and follow up on work
  • are independent, communicative, and confident in creating relationships with different people
  • share KFUM's values
  • have experience from KFUM or other non-profit activities
  • have an understanding of the conditions and opportunities in association life
  • have experience in business development, project management, or coordination
  • can work independently but also coordinate others
  • have good knowledge of using the Office package in MS365 as well as Teams or equivalent products

It is meritorious if you have:

  • experience in association development
  • experience in the non-profit sector, youth activities, or member organizations
  • habit of keeping several contact areas together simultaneously
  • experience leading work without formal personnel responsibility
  • experience in association work or non-profit activities
  • local or regional anchoring in any part of the district
  • experience in outreach work, collaboration, or member contact
  • habit of documenting and reporting on completed work

About the Employment

The position is a fixed-term employment at 20%, equivalent to 8 hours per week. Working hours are flexible based on the needs of the activity. Work in the evenings and weekends occurs. Placement is made according to agreement within the district, and part of the work can be performed remotely. Travel within the district is included in the position. Please state if you have a driver's license and access to a car. You must be able to base yourself in either Dalarna, Gävleborg, Halland, Södermanland, Uppsala, Värmland, Västmanland, Västra Götaland, or Örebro County.

KFUM District Midt is affiliated with the collective agreement between Fremia and Unionen. We are open to different types of employment relationships, e.g., service purchase if you run your own company or are affiliated with another KFUM association.
