Logistics Specialist for International Operations

We are now looking for a Logistics Specialist for an exciting consulting assignment via Randstad!

About the Role

As a Logistics Specialist, you play a central role in implementing and driving logistics plans, processes, and policies. Your focus is on ensuring optimal handling, storage, and movement of both raw materials and finished products.

You work independently under general supervision and are expected to take significant responsibility for your tasks. The role involves many internal interfaces where you collaborate closely with colleagues within your own function and support various stakeholders in the business.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Flow Optimization: Implement and monitor logistics plans and processes for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods.
• Inventory Control: Execute and maintain processes for inventory control and resolve ongoing logistics issues in the daily flow.
• Monitoring & Control: Follow up on logistics goals, analyze deviations from the plan, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Process Development: Contribute to the development, administration, and maintenance of the department's logistics programs, policies, and routines.
• Collaboration: Work with other team members to support stakeholders, handle task-related issues, and build good relationships based on business needs.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a confident and stable professional in the logistics field. You have strong analytical skills, enabling you to handle and solve emerging problems by drawing conclusions from your previous experience. As a person, you are communicative and have a knack for explaining facts, routines, and policies to your colleagues in a pedagogical manner. You enjoy working independently but are also happy to coordinate and organize tasks together with the team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience: 2–5 years of documented experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, economics, or equivalent relevant work experience/qualification.
• Competence: Practical knowledge of logistics flows, inventory control, and associated systems.
• Languages: Good communication skills in both speech and writing (Swedish and English).

About the Assignment

Location: Uppsala

Scope: 40 hours/week, daytime hours

Duration: Aug 2024 – Feb 2027

This is a full-time consulting assignment via Randstad. You will be employed by us and work as a consultant at our client's site. We offer a secure employment with collective agreements, a market-competitive salary, and a dedicated consultant manager who supports you in your career.
