Do you want to build businesses through networking and relationships at a Swedish company developing digital products and AI solutions? Compileit is now looking for a Sales & Partnerships Lead.
About the role
Compileit was founded by developers Isak Utegård and Jonathan Ortheden with the vision of creating digital products focused on the end user. Since its inception, the company has been involved in building some of the world's most downloaded apps and today develops digital products and AI solutions together with customers such as Swish, SkiStar, ICA, and Barncancerfonden.
The company works closely with its customers and is often involved from the early idea stages all the way to the finished product. By combining technical expertise, product understanding, and business focus, Compileit helps organizations solve complex challenges and create measurable value. We are now looking for a Sales & Partnerships Lead who wants to help build long-term customer relationships, create new business opportunities, and contribute to continued growth in a company where technology, product, and business go hand in hand.
Sales & Partnerships Lead
This is a key commercial role responsible for driving our growth. It is not about cold calling or volume-based prospecting, but about creating business with high customer value.
You identify and develop business opportunities through networks and industry contexts. Often, the first contact is not a sales meeting, but the start of a dialogue that leads to business over time. You move between technology, product, and business, working closely with decision-makers, product owners, and technical leaders to understand needs and shape relevant collaborations.
Here, this is a collaborative effort rather than a hierarchical sales function. You work closely with both the founders and the rest of the team, where sales, product, and engineering are in the same loop. Since the development team is involved early on, you can connect customer needs directly to concrete solutions. However, even though relationships are built long-term, the role ultimately involves closing deals, driving the process forward, and packaging offers that lead to the right types of projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities through networking, events, and industry contacts.
- Initiate and develop dialogues with decision-makers, product owners, and technical leaders.
- Build and manage long-term customer relationships.
- Drive business processes all the way from first contact to final agreement.
- Represent Compileit in external contexts and contribute to how we package our offering.
- Structure, develop, and maintain our commercial pipeline.
We are looking for someone who
We believe you thrive in the intersection of people, business, and technology and have a natural curiosity about how digital products are actually built and function. You do not need to be a developer, but you are interested enough in technology to hold relevant conversations with both business and tech roles. You follow developments in AI, apps, and modern software because you are genuinely interested, not because you see it as a necessary evil or a must 😉.
You are both creative and structured in your approach; you can think freely and find new business opportunities while having the ability to create clarity, prioritize, and drive things forward methodically.
Since much of the business is built through relationships and networks, the role also means you thrive in contexts where business often happens outside the office, at events, meetings, and industry gatherings that sometimes fall outside a traditional 8–17 framework.
We would like you to have
- Experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or business development with a documented ability to build long-term relationships.
- A genuine interest in technology, digital product development, and AI.
- Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written.
Advantageous
- Experience selling qualified consulting services, custom software development, or digital projects (rather than finished product licenses/SaaS).
- Experience from consulting, product, or tech companies where you have worked closely with development teams.
- An established network among digital decision-makers in the Swedish market.
What we offer you
You are offered a role with significant authority and great freedom, where you have direct influence on how we grow, which businesses we take on, and how we develop our offering. Here, you become a key player in a flat organization with short decision-making paths, where commercial drive and technical expertise are closely linked.
The starting point is our office in Stockholm, with regular meetings, events, and travel.
If you believe sales is about people as much as numbers, and want to work close to technology, product development, and AI in a company that builds real products, we think you will thrive with us.
