Social Worker (Socionom)

Base location: Malmö. The work is located at two combined sites, and travel during working hours is expected.

We are looking for a candidate with relevant post-secondary education in the form of a Social Work degree. A Social Work degree is a REQUIREMENT, and work experience from similar assignments is advantageous.

Experience working with children is an advantage.

We are looking for an independent and flexible social worker with commitment and a positive attitude for our operations in Skåne.

Responsibilities: As a Social Worker/Contact Person, you are available to guide and provide security through individual support in everyday life. You will serve as a contact person for several clients whom you meet regularly, both adults and children. You will provide all practical support as well as counseling. Counseling may consist of trauma processing, crisis management, and conversations regarding violence/situations to increase understanding. Practical support may include transportation, contact with authorities, doctor's visits, identifying employment opportunities such as internships or work, and promoting good health through exercise. The goal is to give the individuals living in our apartments increased confidence in their own abilities and greater independence.

Administrative tasks include social documentation and the preparation of implementation plans. Practical work related to move-in/move-out processes and ongoing support during the placement is also included.
