As a Logistics Support Case Worker, you will be part of the team at the Logistics Section. Here, you will have the opportunity to contribute to society's preparedness for crises and war.
Your responsibilities and tasks
Your tasks include receiving requests for material for national and international operations, exercises, and training, as well as receiving and registering orders. The work also involves recommending transport solutions, renewing competitive procurements for transport contracts, and monitoring transports. This also includes ensuring that the work is handled and documented according to established processes and routines.
Together with your colleagues, you contribute to the unit having good relationships with other units and external partners, and you develop routines and working methods that create conditions for efficient logistics.
Your knowledge and competencies
We are looking for you who have:
- a university/college degree in a relevant field, or a completed higher vocational education (YH/KY) in logistics, or at least 5 years of work experience in logistics/freight forwarding assessed as equivalent.
- experience with international transports.
- experience with export control.
- experience with customs handling.
- experience working in or with the public sector.
- good computer skills and experience working in Microsoft Windows/Excel as well as various support systems.
- good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience working in the support systems Unit4 and CECIS.
- knowledge of the agency's operational activities.
- knowledge of public procurement.
- additional language skills.

About the employment
We offer you a permanent full-time position starting with a probationary period.
Your place of work will be Karlstad, and travel within the employment will occur.
The majority of our positions involve placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required. In case of placement in a security class, a security investigation with register check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Most employees at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency are war-placed.
About us
At the Logistics Section, we are about 15 employees, and the majority are based in Karlstad. The unit's task is to be responsible for transports and supply of material for operations, exercises, and training, both nationally and internationally. This also includes support regarding material and logistics issues from personnel on operations, exercises, and training.
