About the Role

As a stationary guard, you are customer-aware and the face of the company. You often work at an entrance, being there for visitors and welcoming everyone with professional treatment, where service and security are in focus. Here, you deliver security by being attentive and ensuring everything is in order. This role suits you if you want a social position where you interact with many people.

We are a business that operates every day of the year. Shifts are 12 hours long. Night shifts can be intense with a high pace and lots of customer contact. This often includes patrolling the site, looking for deviations and deficiencies in the customer's perimeter security. The most important thing during the nights is that we are sensitive and vigilant.

Requirements

We would like you to have experience from the service industry and want to continue delivering high-class service with a security focus.

Requirements:

• Trained security guard (Väktarlegitimation)
• Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school
• Good knowledge of English
• Category B driver's license

Merits:

• Experience in similar tasks or within the service industry, e.g., reception, retail.
• Has a civil or military protective guard training.

• The position is a needs-based employment, but full-time during the summer, with immediate start or as agreed. We apply a 6-month probation period.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you are required to have approved grades from the first year of upper secondary school in Swedish and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security investigation according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also become relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when reviewing suitability for each position.

Salary and terms of employment are based on a collective agreement between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
