Do you want to contribute to a sustainable work environment in a socially vital operation?

At Renova, we work every day for a sustainable society – for people, the environment, and the future. We are now looking for an experienced and development-oriented Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Specialist who wants to take overall responsibility for further developing our strategic and systematic work environment work.

This is a role for you who enjoys thinking long-term and thrives close to the operations. You are driven by creating structure, development, and results together with others – and you know that sustainable work environment work is built through collaboration, trust, and understanding of the business's needs.

About the role

As a strategic OHS Specialist, you play a central role in holding together, steering, and developing Renova's work environment work at a high level. You work both operationally and strategically and are an important support to managers, HR, and operations in complex work environment issues.

You ensure that our work environment work functions as a system and develops in line with the needs of the business and legal requirements. The role involves many contact points where you collaborate broadly within the organization and together with union partners and other collaboration partners to find solutions that strengthen the business and create a sustainable work environment for our employees.

You are located on Holmen in fresh premises within walking distance from the central station with a view of the Göta River.

Your main responsibilities

In the role, you will among other things:

  • be responsible for and develop overarching processes within systematic work environment work, including physical, organizational, and social work environment.
  • interpret and translate work environment legislation and regulations into practical and operationally close working methods
  • ensure routines for legal compliance and follow-up
  • prepare decision support materials and develop support materials, training concepts, and tools for managers
  • lead or coordinate larger development initiatives within the work environment area
  • analyze work environment data
  • act as a superuser in TRIA and contribute to the development of working methods and system support
  • support managers and HR in complex or escalated work environment cases
  • further develop collaboration with union partners in work environment issues

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a genuine commitment to work environment issues and who thrive in a role where you get to combine strategy, development, and operationally close support.

You are confident in your competence and have the ability to create structure and direction while being pragmatic and solution-oriented. To succeed in the role, you need to be skilled at building relationships, creating trust, and collaborating with different parts of the business.

You also have the ability to see the big picture, analyze needs, and drive development forward together with others.

We are looking for you who have

  • relevant university or college education
  • at least 5 years of experience in qualified work environment work
  • experience from larger organizations, preferably within logistics, production, or process industry
  • very good knowledge of work environment legislation and its application in production-oriented operations
  • experience in strategic work environment work and analysis of work environment data
  • good ability to translate regulations into practical and sustainable working methods
  • experience in supporting and guiding managers in work environment issues
  • very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

We offer

With us, you get the opportunity to make a real difference in a socially vital operation where sustainability is at the center.
