We are now looking for a Support Assistant/Special Needs Teacher for our short-term care facility for children and young people according to LSS/SOL – a workplace where care, safety, development, and low-affective handling are at the center.

About the position

We offer short-term stays for children and young people who need special support. The work is based on low-affective handling, clear structure, and individualized support.

You work closely with the children/young people in their daily lives, focusing on safety, participation, and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in daily routines
• Plan and conduct activities
• Work with a low-affective approach
• Support social interaction
• Document according to LSS/SOL and implementation plans
• Collaborate with guardians

Qualifications

• Education: Special needs teacher, support assistant, childcare worker, assistant nurse, or equivalent
• Experience: Working with children/young people, preferably with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses
• Language: Good Swedish in speech and writing
