Here at Apoteket Lejonet, you have the opportunity to work at a large, open, and pleasant pharmacy located in the heart of the beautiful coastal town of Västervik. Here, we handle a high prescription volume from both the hospital and the surrounding area, and we are proud to serve residential homes, home care groups, and the addiction unit. This gives us varied and meaningful tasks every day.

The pharmacy offers extensive self-care services and is run by an engaged team of six pharmacists and four self-care advisors, supported by hourly employees and staff from our close collaboration with Västervik's other pharmacy, Tullporten. We work closely together within the region to meet our customers' needs in the best possible way.

This position is a temporary assignment due to parental leave during the period September 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027, with the possibility of extension.

Working hours for this position are within the framework of the local pharmacy's opening hours: Weekdays 08:00–18:00, Saturdays 09:00–14:00, and Sundays 10:00–15:00.

Our pharmacists always work with care, quality, and the customer's needs in focus. In your role with us, you contribute to a safe, professional, and welcoming experience for everyone who visits us. In this role, you handle counseling, prescription dispensing, and self-care, and take responsibility for safety and service in every customer interaction.

• Provide professional counseling and create added value in every customer interaction, with care and understanding for people's different needs.
• Contribute to patient safety and quality in everything you do, so that our customers can feel secure with us.
• Share knowledge and experience with your colleagues – we grow and develop together.
• Keep up to date with our assortment and campaigns to give customers the best possible help.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to develop both the daily work life and the customer experience at our pharmacy.

For this position, you must be a licensed pharmacist or pharmaceutical chemist, with a clear interest in people, health, and medicine.

• You preferably have a few years of experience from a pharmacy, but you can also be at the beginning of your career.
• You have a special interest in self-care, digital counseling, quality, or supervision.
• You have a warm and professional attitude where you see every customer.
• You enjoy collaborating and contribute positively to the team.
