Recipe and Production Method Developer for Food Security

Do you want to contribute to strengthening society's food security and developing future meal solutions? The Meals Area within the Supply Administration is looking for a development-oriented employee who wants to work on recipe development and creating efficient production methods for sustainable and long-term robust meals.

The employment is part of a food security project, where a process manager, together with a chef, will work to strengthen the region's capacity for meal supply. The project will be based at the hospital kitchen in Borås.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Developing recipes together with the responsible chef that combine good taste, nutritional quality, and long shelf life.
• Creating and improving work methods and production processes that support food security and safe supply.
• Conducting tests, documenting results, and contributing to standardization and quality assurance.
• Collaborating with internal and external actors, including research, suppliers, and meal organizations.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant education in nutrition, food, gastronomy, or food technology.
• Experience in recipe development or food production.
• Ability to work systematically, analyze results, and drive development work.
• Interest in food security and innovative solutions.

The position is a fixed-term assignment starting August 24th through December 31st.
