Foster Care Secretary at Stenungsund Municipality
Stenungsund, a good society with confidence in the future and development with humans and nature at the center.
Stenungsund Municipality is an expanding coastal municipality with approximately 28,030 residents, a strong business community, residential environments close to the sea, and good transport links. The municipality has a well-developed cultural and association life, as well as good conditions for outdoor activities and recreation. The municipality's key words are wholeness, openness, participation, and transparency.
The municipality's vision is to reach 35,000 residents by 2035. Stenungsund Municipality is part of the Gothenburg Region Municipal Association, which serves as a forum for cooperation and experience sharing, as well as in several other inter-municipal collaborations.
The Individual and Family Care (IFO) consists of both authority enforcement and service provision, meeting residents who need support in various ways. Within IFO, we have units such as Children and Youth, Foster Care, Family Law, Family Support, Maintenance Support, Adults, LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), Social Psychiatry, Elderly Assistance, and Administration.
The Foster Care, Family Law, and Administration unit is now looking for a new employee, as one of our experienced Foster Care Secretaries is moving on to other tasks. The Foster Care group is a stable work team consisting of five child secretaries and six foster care secretaries, along with two experienced supervisors. On the unit, we work with Skolfam, and therefore we have a special needs teacher and a psychologist working alongside us.
The workplace is centrally located in Stenungsund and is easily accessible by public transport from Gothenburg and Uddevalla. There is a wide range of shopping and lunch restaurants near the town hall, and outside the office window, you have the opportunity to see the sea!
