System Developer for Product Development – Consulting Assignment (Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping, Karlskoga or Lund)

In the role of System Developer, you will work closely with both software and hardware teams to develop and improve software components in modern technical systems.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and optimize software components in products and internal systems.
• Participate in requirement analysis and technical design together with system engineers and architects.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and fix bugs with a high focus on quality.
• Collaborate with test teams to improve test automation and stability.
• Contribute to the development of tools, working methods, and development environments.

Your background

• Technical education in computer science, software development, or equivalent.
• Experience in programming (e.g., C++, Python, Java, or C#).
• Understanding of version control, build tools, and test automation.
• Ability to quickly get up to speed with new codebases and complex systems.
• Self-motivated, curious, and solution-oriented.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with embedded systems or signal processing.
• Experience with cloud or IoT-related development.
• Experience in consulting roles or customer-facing development work.
