Do you want to help create meaningful days for people with disabilities? We are now looking for an engaged support educator/habilitation assistant for our daily activities under the LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Functionally Disabled Persons).

About Daily Activities

Daily activities are an intervention under the LSS Act aimed at people of working age who are unable to work or study. The activity should provide structure, community, and development – and contribute to increased independence and participation in society.

The Role of Support Educator or Habilitation Assistant

The habilitation assistant's role is to support individuals in their daily work both socially, practically, and pedagogically. This involves adapting and facilitating communication for participants, both verbally and through AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). You act as a support in achieving individual goals for participants based on the implementation plan.

The support educator has overall responsibility for the pedagogical work, documentation, and methodological guidance in the activity. You work closely with participants and colleagues, contributing your expertise to create clear structure, good communication, and an inclusive working approach.

Qualifications

• Education as a support educator, or other relevant post-secondary education in pedagogy, social work, or the disability field.
• Experience working within LSS activities is required.
• Good ability to communicate and collaborate.
• Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, low-affective handling, and individualized support is meritorious.

Conditions

• The position is a fixed-term appointment of 6 months with the possibility of extension.
• Scope: Full-time.
• Start date: August 10, 2026, or by agreement.
• Extract from the criminal record is required.
• Category B driver's license is required.
