About the role

As an employee here, you represent Hornbach and serve as an example of engagement, drive, and customer service. We are now looking for a store sales assistant for our Plumbing (VVS) department.

Your main responsibilities will primarily consist of selling and advising customers. Thanks to your product knowledge and sales skills, you ensure that the customer can complete their project.

Examples of typical tasks

• Active sales of the product range within the Plumbing department
• Opportunities to be inspired, learn from colleagues, and exchange solid knowledge and experience within the product area
• Responsible for incoming goods and display, as well as setup and restructuring within the department
• Analyze the department's product presentation
• Be available to assist in other departments when needed

Your profile

• High school education or equivalent, plus experience in retail.
• Relevant professional experience/education in Plumbing (VVS)
• Passion for offering our customers the best possible service
• Realize customers' projects through professional advice on our wide product range
• As a person, you are stress-resistant, flexible, and solution-oriented
• Good physical condition as some departments require lifting heavier items
• Meritorious if you have a forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4)

Working hours/Duration: Permanent. Full-time. 38.25 hours/week. Working hours vary, including weekdays and every other weekend.

Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.
