The Baltic Sea is a fantastic sea in many ways, but also challenging from a military perspective. The average depth is only about 55 meters, and its geography and hydrography make it difficult to detect and combat threats. But the Baltic Sea is our arena!

The Business Area Underwater Systems provides both military and civil products that provide capabilities both above and below the water surface. Versatility, flexibility, and high availability are characteristics that define our products.

• Work through the entire development cycle - from initial idea to final delivery

Your Profile

We believe you have:

• Experience with C, C++, and/or Python
• Experience with embedded systems is an advantage
• Interest in the entire development chain - from design and implementation to testing and delivery
• Good understanding of modern development methods, such as CI/CD, container technology, and cloud solutions
• Strong collaboration skills and a solution-oriented mindset
• A Master of Science or Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience, along with a few years of work in system development focusing on software
• Ability to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

The location is Linköping.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
