Two Medical Secretaries sought for our operations

Do you want to become part of our committed team at Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Skaraborg? We are now looking for two medical secretaries based in Skövde.

About the position

You will play a central role in ensuring that our administration runs smoothly.

Tasks may include, among others: Medical record documentation, Power BI, mail handling, diagnosis coding, appointment booking, limited telephone contact with patients, and handling cases in the 1177 system. Management of purchased care as well as standard medical secretary duties.

Administration within BUP has a large and varied assignment with many tasks. We work in teams with different areas of responsibility, but flexibility is crucial – we help each other across boundaries when needed. Over the past few years, we have carried out several task rotations, and more are planned for the future. This means you will have the opportunity to develop and take on new tasks in line with the needs of the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a higher vocational education (KY) or university college education (YH) as a medical secretary or equivalent. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language and medical terminology. Since the tasks are varied, we would like you to be flexible, detail-oriented, structured, independent, and have good teamwork skills. We value that you are a regular user of the various systems we work with, but we are of course also interested in you if you are a newly graduated medical secretary. What is important to us is that you have drive and commitment. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Employment interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.

Location: The hospital in Skövde.

When employed within child and adolescent psychiatry, a certificate of conduct (extract from the crime suspicion register) is required. This is handled by the employing employer.
