We are looking for a meticulous Financial Assistant at Myndighet Äldre in Järfälla
The Social Services Administration in Järfälla Municipality is responsible for elderly care, disability services, and individual and family care. Authority Administration is one of three units within Authority Äldre. Currently, fee handlers, a financial assistant, a Superuser, and a unit manager work here.

Responsibilities
The role includes fee handling, invoice management, archive work, as well as other administrative and office-related tasks, such as orders, office support, and occasional tasks at Authority Administration. The work requires high precision, analytical ability, and well-developed numerical competence. The assignment also involves contributing to the development of working methods, where you, together with colleagues, drive improvements and ensure legally secure and efficient processes.
The work involves many contact surfaces, including with care handlers, financial colleagues, area managers, and providers both within and outside the municipality.
Qualifications
- You have at least a high school education with an economic/administrative focus or equivalent education.
- You have good knowledge of the Office package and are accustomed to handling materials and conducting reviews.
- You perform controls with high precision and ensure that financial flows and documentation maintain consistent and legally secure quality.
- You quickly absorb new working methods, systems, and routines and translate knowledge into practical work.
- You dare to make decisions, take responsibility, and drive issues forward even in complex situations.
Essential Requirements:
- High school education with an economic/administrative focus or similar.
- Experience in handling fee cases within elderly care and/or disability services, including calculations and decision-making according to current regulations.
- Experience in archive work, structured document management, and current legislation.
- Good knowledge of the Office package.
- Ability to work meticulously and analytically, with high precision in controls and reviews.
- Good communication skills and experience collaborating with various functions and professional roles.
Meritorious for the position:
- Experience working within municipal operations, especially elderly care and/or disability services.
- Knowledge of the Social Services Act related to fees and sick leave pay.
- Experience working with the development of routines and working methods.
- Experience with supplier and customer accounting as well as handling financial flows.
