Strandskolan is a school for grades F-9 with 690 students located in a beautiful school building. The school achieves high results and is situated in an area with exceptional nature right around the corner. About the position

We are now looking for a special needs teacher with a focus on mathematics for grades 6-9. It is an advantage if you are also qualified to teach in more subjects.

You will be part of a work team consisting of 3 other special needs teachers and special educators who all have the same assignment. The assignment involves teaching, documenting, following up, and evaluating special support. You will also write investigations and mentor colleagues.

Together with the work team, you lead the preventive and health-promoting work. You are part of the unified student health team, which is an interprofessional team that meets once a week.

The position is a permanent employment with start date as agreed.

The position is filled subject to the condition that it does not need to be used for internal transfers.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified special needs teacher with a focus on mathematics for grades 6-9, with teaching experience in mathematics. It is an advantage if you are qualified to teach in more subjects. We are looking for an active person who is solution-focused, positive, sees opportunities, and contributes to driving our operations forward. You can work independently and build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You have the ability to create good environments that promote learning and stimulate students' curiosity and interest. Your competence and experience in mathematics are of great importance to provide our students with good knowledge development. You are confident in varying your teaching methods to meet the needs of all students.
