About the job

Spånga Gymnasium is a small, pleasant upper secondary school with approximately 350 students. We have dedicated staff and low staff turnover. The school is idyllically located in the Solhem villa area, and you can easily commute to school by commuter train or bus. We offer a wide range of programs, including the Natural Resources Program, the Natural Science Program, the Social Science Program, as well as IMS (Language Introduction), IMY-NB (Vocational Introduction NB), and an adapted upper secondary school offering the national programs SMD (Forestry, Land, Animals) and FB (Property and Construction). We are now seeking a certified upper secondary school teacher for instruction in mathematics and natural sciences. For the upcoming academic year, the position is exclusively within the adapted upper secondary school and IMY-NB with special educational needs support.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong collaborative skills, enjoy developing teaching methods together with colleagues, and possess the ability to adapt your lessons to different student groups.

Job Description

The position primarily involves planning, conducting, evaluating, and documenting teaching. You will participate in subject teams, work groups, and other meetings, such as the school's development groups, where you will contribute alongside colleagues to further elevate our school. The teaching for the 2026/2027 academic year will be exclusively within the adapted upper secondary school and IMY-NB with special educational needs support. An educational assistant is also present in these groups.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach mathematics and natural sciences at the upper secondary level. You have experience with and enjoy teaching students with special needs and are skilled in adapting instruction for different levels. Personal suitability is highly valued.
