Job Description

The role involves participating in the preparation of the municipality's pavement plan, from inventory and planning to implementation, as well as monitoring results and economy. You will work on various projects within the operations department, such as the introduction of BK4, reinforcement measures, and various types of investigations. The position also includes processing excavation applications and being responsible for convening and leading utility coordination meetings together with the relevant utility owners. Furthermore, it includes monitoring and ordering bridge maintenance, as well as participating in investment and development projects. The assignment also involves supporting foremen within the street unit in their daily work. On-call duties are included in the position, as well as other common tasks within the unit.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with great enthusiasm and knowledge of road construction. You have high cooperation skills and are accustomed to structuring, planning, and following up on work. Since you will have contact with the public, consultants, contractors, authorities, and politicians, we see that you have an easy time expressing yourself well in speech and writing. Your personal qualities are very important to us, and we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements

• You have a post-secondary technical education or other education combined with work experience that the employer considers equivalent
• Experience with pavement work, procurement/execution of infrastructure contracts, and contract law
• Good IT skills and a B driving license
