Tiundaskolan is a municipal school covering preschool class to grade 9. The school is located in Luthagen and has approximately 600 students and 70 employees. The school has a comprehensive student health team that works preventively and promotes health. Tiundaskolan is part of the Trivselprogrammet (Well-being Program). We want you to share our fundamental view on the equal value and equal rights of all people in society. Description of Duties

As a teacher in this position, you will teach grades 4–6. You may also teach in smaller groups and act as a substitute teacher. You will have the opportunity to make a difference for our students by contributing your competence, knowledge, and engagement to help the school reach its goals, with the student at the center. You plan, implement, evaluate, and develop the pedagogical work according to the curriculum and other governing documents. Mentoring is included in the role.

We strive for collegial learning, where you develop the operations in close collaboration with your colleagues. Together, you work to ensure that all students thrive and develop based on their individual prerequisites. This position is a substitute teaching assignment for the academic year 2026/2027.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a primary school teacher degree with eligibility for grades 4–6 and who are eligible to teach at least two core subjects. Experience teaching in grades 4–6 is an advantage.

You collaborate well with others and relate to your surroundings in a sensitive and flexible manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way. As a person, you are outgoing and socially active in your work. You easily establish contact with students, guardians, and colleagues, and maintain these relationships. With good pedagogical insight, you understand that students have different prerequisites for absorbing knowledge. In your teaching, you adapt to your audience.

Uppsala Municipality applies individual and differentiated salary setting according to the current collective agreement.

In your application, you must state your citizenship. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, as required by the Aliens Ordinance.

Employment with Uppsala Municipality may involve being placed on the war establishment (krigsplacering).
