What does the job as a preschool teacher at Norlandia Preschools involve?

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference in children's lives. We appreciate that you collaborate well with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive to adapt to the children's needs.

Qualifications:

• Trained preschool teacher with a preschool teaching license.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Familiarity with the curriculum's goals regarding teaching and learning.
• Experience in working with and leading systematic quality work at the group level.
• Good knowledge of Office 365.
• Previous experience working in preschool activities is highly meritorious.

About the preschool

Norlandia Preschools Bäcklösa is located in a nature-friendly area in Uppsala, close to both forest and city. Here, children can explore, play, and develop in a safe and stimulating environment where care, learning, and movement form a whole. We offer both Swedish and bilingual (English/Swedish) education and work thematically with a strong focus on curiosity, communication, and children's participation.

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to produce an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
